Why Eat More Plants?

Studies show that 90% of children and adults in the UK don’t eat enough vegetables or fibre. Eating more vegetables naturally boosts fibre intake, solving both issues in one go.

The 5-a-day goal is a good start, but research shows that more fruit and veg further benefits immunity, gut health, bones and organs.

Variety matters too. ZOE recommends 30 different plant-based foods weekly - including fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and whole grains - to nourish a diverse gut microbiome that supports immunity, reduces disease risk and even improves mood.

In our house, fruit vanished in a day, but vegetables? Not so popular.

That’s where PLANT POPINS come in — steamed, blended frozen vegetable portions ready to add to the meals your children already love, making them healthier and more nutritious.
